The Downtown Growers’ Market is committed to keeping Albuquerque Green. Starting July of 2018 the market will be working with vendors to transition packaging products to plastic-free options. This year we will focus on bags, silverware, sample cups and straws with more to come in 2019. How can you, the customer, help out? Bring your own bags and serving ware (plates, cups, silverware, etc)! The more reusable products that are used, the less disposable items go in the recycling, compost and trash bins. We thank you for your participation and look forward to seeing you on Saturdays at the Market!
Join us on June 2nd at Robinson Park for our annual Salad Mixer! This year we'll feature three talented chefs from 1) La Montanita Coop, 2) Three Sister's Kitchen and 3) Street Food Institute who will use our Farmers' produce to create some delicious salads. Salads served from 10a-sold out on 8th street (the east side of the Park) for just $3/plate.
