2022 Market Updates
Market Currency: Downtown Growers' Market Tokens
At the Downtown Growers' Market we accept a variety of payment options! If you shop with SNAP benefits you'll receive NEW DGM tokens specific to our market location. We also have DGM tokens for those who buy tokens using debit or credit.
If you have old tokens that include the Albuquerque Growers' Market Alliance (AGMA) logo turn those into the Info Booth in exchange for our new DGM token.
Vendors at DGM will no longer accept AGMA tokens or tokens from other growers' markets.
The Downtown Grower’s Market is the longest running market in Albuquerque and it’s thanks to the hard work of market staff, vendors and our amazing community. Here’s to 26 more!
Market Safety:
We still encourage unvaccinated attendees to wear a mask as we are a large gathering. Samples are allowed, pets are allowed (leashed and clean up after your pet), gathering at the park is allowed, music and yoga are back! Yoga: 8-8:45am NE corner of park and local music each Saturday from 10am-noon.
Come out to Robinson Park and celebrate 25 years with us all season!
The Downtown Growers' Market is celebrating 25 years! As Albuquerque's longest running farmers market you'll always find a great selection of locally grown produce, locally raised meats, eggs and honey. Also find the best of local New Mexico small businesses! A wide selection of locally made food and drink products (packaged and prepared on site) are available every week. Lots of local artists and body care vendors as well! The market accepts EBT/SNAP and doubles your spending with the Double Up Food Bucks Program. We also accept FreshRX prescriptions, WIC and Senior checks. Stop by the Information Booth on Saturdays 8am-noon at Robinson Park for more info or go here. The Market is open every Saturday from 8am-noon through November 5.
Food Justice is Racial Justice
The DGM is committed to healthy food access for all, economic opportunity for small businesses and community engagement. We stand against racism, and support the peaceful protesting of our community. As a steward for food justice we work hard to provide a safe and inclusive space with the understanding that this is not and has not been the same for people of color. We will continue to improve in these matters and work alongside those dismantling the systems in place that make this a reality.
