The Downtown Growers' Market (DGM) is the longest running growers’ market in the city!
DGM was founded by a group of farmers organizing themselves to come together to sell locally grown produce. The original location was outside of Downtown in a lot at Caravan East. In 1996 the market was moved to Robinson Park with farmers lining up along Copper Ave. Over the years the market has grown, adding management, music, artisans, yoga and new energy into the market we see today.
Growth and providing local food to the city is thanks to our vibrant and supportive community. The Market is a program of the DowntownABQ Main Street Initiative. |
