The DGM accepts SUN Bucks! Use your SUN Bucks to double your bucks at the Market - just like SNAP cards.
SUN Bucks, also known as Summer EBT (S-EBT), is a federal program that helps families by giving them money to buy groceries during the summer when children are not in school. During the summer, families that qualify for this program will get $120 for each child that’s part of the program. This money will be on a card that works like a debit card (called an EBT card). Parents can use this card to buy healthy food at places like farmers markets!
Bring your Sun Bucks card to the yellow Info Booth (corner of 8th & Central) and market staff will DOUBLE your spending on fresh local food.

Join Es Que Market and the Downtown Growers’ Market for our annual Shop & Taste event, sponsored by the New Mexico Farmers Marketing Association.
Chef David Swan will showcase three simple recipes using seasonal produce that anyone can take home to brighten a meal: a salad dressing, salsa recipe and pickle recipe.

Route 66 centennial tote
We’re celebrating our location on Route 66 and the upcoming Centennial Celebrations with a special edition DGM tote! Tote design was done in collaboration with Market vendor, and Downtown artist Yaudi. The design celebrates local food and the Market’s presence on the Mother Road since 1996. Totes will be sold on a pre-order basis with pickup at Robinson Park later in July.
