The Downtown Growers' Market is a vibrant urban market held at historic Robinson Park in Downtown Albuquerque, at the intersection of 8th St SW and Central Ave SW. Whether you bike, drive, or take the bus, there are plenty of ways to get to the Market. If you bike, take advantage of the free bike valet service provided by the Raynolds Neighborhood Association, so you can shop hands-free! Explore the options below to plan your visit.

 

Driving Directions

  • From the North: Take I-25 South, exit 224A for Lead Ave, turn right on Lead Ave, then right on 8th St SW. The Market will be on your left.

  • From the South: Take I-25 North, exit 224A for Lead Ave, turn left on Lead Ave, then right on 8th St SW. The Market will be on your left.

  • From the East: Take I-40 West, exit 158 for 6th St, turn left on 6th St, then right on Copper Ave. The Market will be on your left.

  • From the West: Take I-40 East, exit 157B for 12th St, turn right on 12th St, then left on Central Ave SW. The Market will be on your left.

Chile is a staple of New Mexico, and every chile season brings the unmistakable aroma that fills the air with the essence of home. The New Mexico chile season at the Market typically begins in mid-July and runs through September. During this time, local growers will be roasting fresh chile on-site, offering you a chance to experience this delicious tradition at the Market.
